Design Notes

The gene acdS has many homologs in bacteria, and this gene in particular was easily isolated from endophytic bacteria and has a characterized structure.

Source

The amino acid sequence of acdS comes from isolated endophytic bacteria Pseudomonas sp. 1C2P-04, and primers for its amplification were based on Pseudomonas sp. UW4.
